Common Errors

Here’s a breakdown of some common errors you may encounter while using the Trading Bot on EVM-compatible chains and Solana, and their possible causes:

  1. Insufficient Output Amount (EVM-compatible chains): This error occurs when your slippage tolerance is too low for the transaction. Increase your slippage or gas price to gain more priority on the blockchain. Using Smart Slippage can help, but it requires a higher gas price.

  2. Excessive/Insufficient Input Amount (EVM-compatible chains): This happens when you try to buy an exact number of tokens, but the token’s volatility is too high, and even the slippage range can't account for it. Increasing slippage beyond 100% may help. This issue can also occur in copytrade scenarios, especially with exact token buys or if the trade amount is too low.

  3. Insufficient Funds for Gas + Price (EVM-compatible chains): Your wallet may lack enough funds to cover both the transaction value and its gas fees. Double-check your gas settings and wallet balance to resolve this.

  4. Transfer Failed / Transfer From Failed (EVM-compatible chains): Various reasons can cause this error, including:

    • Trade not enabled yet.

    • Your wallet exceeding the contract’s max wallet.

    • Gas price limitations on the contract.

    • Transaction cooldown or sell limits.

    • Your wallet getting blacklisted or the token becoming a honeypot.

  5. Underpriced Transaction (EVM-compatible chains): Occurs when you try to initiate a transaction while another one from the same wallet is pending. Only one transaction can be processed at a time on EVM-compatible chains.

  6. Transaction Requires More Gas than Max (EVM-compatible chains): This occurs if the bot detects that a transaction requires more gas than the set max gas limit. You can adjust your gas settings to avoid this.

  7. Too Little Received (EVM-compatible chains): Triggered when a buy or sell would result in zero tokens or native assets being received.

  8. Insufficient Lamports (Solana): Your wallet may lack enough SOL to cover transaction fees, tip, and bot taxes.

  9. Too Little (Much) SOL Received to Sell/Buy Tokens (Solana): This error happens when slippage tolerance is too low. Increase it or adjust your gas delta to gain more priority.

  10. High Price Impact Alert (Both EVM and Solana): The bot will warn you if the price impact is too high. For buys, the default alert is set at 25%, while for sells, it’s set at 50%. You can bypass the alert if you wish to proceed.

For most of these issues, adjusting your slippage tolerance or gas settings should resolve the problem. Ensure that your wallet has enough funds, and monitor your transactions closely to avoid errors.
